Customer Comments and Feedback

We are currently manufacturing a bespoke kitchen for our client Mr Layzell, and were delighted when we received the following email message:

"Hi Martin, I only had a glance at the cabinets while you were here. Now I've had a good look, I wanted to send a quick mail saying how impressed I am with Rolf's flawless craftsmanship and attention to detail. Everything from the cabinet fronts to the drawers and hinge rebates, even the curved legs that won't be seen, is perfect and exudes class. I'm really glad Rolf's been able to express himself here and there, and especially on the overmantle, complete with condom drawers! I was also impressed by the quality of materials used, down to the fine layered plywood on the rear that will give the whole thing added strength and solidity. It really is a masterpiece."

We also received the following message from our client Mr Black regarding the curved kitchen island featured earlier in September.

"Our kitchen had a lot of floor space and needed something to fill it. I wanted something to match our existing kitchen which was still relatively new. I was so pleased that we got an exact match that fits in perfectly with my kitchen. The team at Old Image were very helpful and kept me informed as the Island was built. I would have no hesitation to recommend them to my friends and colleagues."

Recent Project - Kitchen and Dresser

This project was commissioned by our clients Mr and Mrs Gouldborne from Upton Cheyney following completion of their utility room earlier in the year (see our post dated 30 March 2009).

The kitchen cupboards are hand painted in Fired Earth 'Gesso' eggshell. The mantle and dresser are handpainted in Fired Earth 'Oak Apple' eggshell creating a nice contrast with the kitchen cupboards (unfortunately the colours in the photographs below makes them look like different colurs).

Curved Kitchen Island

This curved kitchen island was commissioned by our client Mr Black from Newmarket. The colour of the island, the granite works surface and the handles all match the existing kitchen exactly.

Small Kitchen Island

Why waste the floor space in the middle of your kitchen?

Even smaller kitchens can benefit from a kitchen island because they provide extra work space and additional storage.

This kitchen island, hand painted in a pretty shade of pink, has a solid wood work suface and measures approximately 2' x 2'. For added convenience, the island is mounted on castors.

Follow the link http://www.oldimage.co.uk/kitchenislands1.htm for more styles and designs. Our kitchen islands are designed with a wealth of unique features. You can mix and match these features to suit your current kitchen.

Contact us today to discuss your requirements.

Utility Room (Luxury Dog Bath)

This smart utility room with granite work surface and hand painted cupboards was commissioned by our clients, Mr and Mrs Goulbourne. The ultra deep Belfast sink and mixer tap are particularly useful in any utility room. Our clients, however, had an extra special purpose, they wanted a convenient area to hose down their dog if it got muddy!

Visit the following link http://www.oldimage.co.uk/products.asp?cat=13 to view a comprehensive range of ceramic Belfast sinks and http://www.oldimage.co.uk/products.asp?cat=14 for a select range of Perrin and Rowe taps.

Not just kitchens!

Many of our clients ask us to provide additional services while installing their bespoke kitchen. In most instances, these services would involve building alterations or renovation.

Our versatile team have a wealth of experience in many areas and this includes landscaping. We recently carried out both the soft and hard landscaping to the rear garden of a property for our clients, Mr and Mrs Newby and thought you may be interested in the results.

Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Newby for allowing us to feature their garden in our blog.

A new image for Old Image!

The change to our branding will not alter the services we offer. You can expect the same high level of service, attention to detail and high quality products as before.

Best Wishes
